You want to Re-Marry

If you want to re-marry statutorily, then you have to legally end your current marriage. The only way to put an end to a marriage is through a divorce petition in Nigeria.

If you marriage has gone sour and the couple are now livng apart, one of the ways in which you can get full custody of your children is through a an order in a divorce petition. This scenerio is common in Nigeria where the mother is literally pushed out of the house without her children.

This is the era of “japa”. A lot of people are thinking of relocating abroad. For couples whose marriages have gone sour, you still need the consent of your spouse if you want to relocate with your young children.
